Adding a Percentage Increase to a Product Using Options
Learn how to increase the price of a product by a percentage using Option Groups in the Price List.
Article Introduction
From the Price List in the Administration Dashboard, products can be configured to increase their price by a percentage. One way to accomplish this is by using Option Groups, which allow additional charges such as shipping, handling, or conditional adjustments to be applied when building an estimate.
Creating a Percentage-Based Option
Locate the Product you want to modify and Click Option Groups.

Click Add Option Group, Enter the Option Group Name, choose between Multiple or Single selection Mode. and save.

Click + Button on the newly created option to add the Options you need.

Click the pen to edit the newly created option. Under Unit, Select Percent, and enter the percentage value in the Product Price field.

Example Use Case
If a product requires additional charges under certain circumstances, multiple percentage options can be created inside the same option group.
Example:
Option Group: Additional Charges
Options inside the group:

Shipping — 25%
-
Special Handling — 15%
When selected in the estimator, these options will increase the product price by the specified percentages.
Important Notes

Percentage options modify the base price of the product.

These options can be selected during estimate creation depending on the situation.
