All Documents - Layout configuration: proposals, agreements & Inspections

Control where documents appear in proposals, agreements, and inspections by managing the layout configuration.

Article Introduction

After uploading documents to the system, Layout Configuration determines where those documents appear within the platform. Layouts control which documents are included in Proposals, Agreements, and Inspections, as well as the order they appear when generating documents.

To edit:

  • Navigate to the Layout tab

  • Select one of the available sections:

    • Proposal

    • Agreement

    • Inspection

These layouts are typically configured during onboarding but can be updated at any time.


Managing Active and Available Documents

Within each layout tab:

  • Left column: Active documents currently included

  • Right column: Available documents not yet included

To add a document:

  • Click + Add

  • Select the document from the pop-up list

  • Drag and drop it into the desired position

To remove a document:

  • Toggle it off in the active list & It will automatically disappear from the layout

Reorder Documents

Document order directly affects how documents appear in the Estimator and final PDFs.

  • Drag documents to reorder them

  • Manually click Save after reordering
    (Order changes are not saved automatically)

Uploads save automatically, but order changes do not.
