Can I Result Separate Estimates on the Same Job?
Learn why Job Resulting applies to the entire job and not individual estimates
Article Introduction
Job Resulting in One Click Contractor is applied at the job level, not at the estimate level. This means all estimates within a job share the same result.
How Job Resulting Works
When you result a job, you are setting the outcome for the entire job.
This includes all estimates, products, and activities associated with that job.
Why You Can’t Result Estimates Separately
Job Resulting is designed to track the final outcome of a job as a whole.
Because of this:
-
You cannot assign different results to individual estimates within the same job
-
You cannot mark one estimate as a Sale and another as a No Sale within the same job
Common Scenario
You may have multiple estimates for different services or products within a single job.
Even if those estimates have different outcomes, the system will only allow one final result for the entire job.
What to Do Instead
If you need to track separate outcomes:
-
Create Separate Jobs for each workflow or service
This allows each job to have its own result, fields, and reporting.
