Creating a Signable Document from the Estimator
One Click Contractor allows you to generate signable documents using both Job Documents and Job Resources. These documents can be sent for digital signature either as standalone files or as part of an agreement, depending on the workflow you choose.
Method 1: Creating a Signable Document from the Signatures Tab
This method is typically used when you want to create a standalone signable document or merge multiple documents together.
Step 1: Navigate to the Signatures Tab

Scroll to the Signatures tab within the job.

Click Create Signable Document.

Step 2: Select Documents

Choose one or more documents from:

Job Documents
-
Resources
-
-
Click Create to proceed.

Step 3: Pre-Fill Required PDF Fields

Complete any required fields in the PDF.

Click Next once all required information is filled in.

Step 4: Complete the Signature Request

Review and complete the Create Signature Request screen.

Signer A – Customer

Signer B – Sales Representative

Each signer has optional, clickable signature fields that can be added or removed as needed.

Step 5: Send for Signature

Choose how the document will be signed:

On-Screen signature (used when signing with the customer)

Email signature request (sent to the signer’s email)

Method 2: Creating a Signable Document from the Documents Tab (Embedded in Agreements)
This method is commonly used when a document needs to be included directly in an agreement or proposal.
Step 1: Pre-Fill the Document

Go to the Documents tab in the estimator.

Locate the document and click the magic wand icon.

Fill in the required PDF information.

Click Save.

Step 2: Enable the Document for Proposal or Agreement

Once saved, the updated document will appear in the document list.

Select Proposal and/or Agreement to include it.
- The document will now be included automatically with the pre-filled data when you send the agreement.

Standalone signable documents and embedded agreement documents follow the same signature request process.
