Editing or Filling Documents with the Magic Wand
Use the Magic Wand to fill out documents directly in One Click Contractor and prepare them for proposals, agreements, or job records.
Article Introduction
The Magic Wand allows you to open, edit, and complete supported documents directly inside One Click Contractor. This tool can automatically populate certain fields such as customer information, organization details, job address, and the current date.
The Magic Wand can also be used to prepare documents for proposals or agreements without leaving the platform.
The Magic Wand icon appears in the Documents section of the Estimator, both under Job Documents and Resources.
Main Body Content
Open a Document with the Magic Wand

Click Documents in the Estimator.

Locate the document you want to edit.

Click the Magic Wand icon.

Complete the Document
You can enter additional information directly into the document fields & Save Changes.

Where the Saved Document Appears
After saving, the completed document will appear in the Job Documents tab.
The saved file will include:

The original document name
-
The word “Filled”
-
The date and time the document was saved
Example format:
Filled Terms & Conditions - Saved 03-09-26
The filled document can then be:

Included in proposals or agreements
-
Previewed or downloaded
-
Deleted if necessary
Deleting a filled document does not delete the original resource document.
Important Notes

The Magic Wand works only with supported documents uploaded to the system.

Filled documents are saved as new job-specific documents.
-
The original document stored in Resources will remain unchanged.
