How Do I Remove a Job Document or Resource from a Proposal and Agreement?

Learn how to stop a Job Document or Resource from being included with a customer proposal, agreement, or both.

Open the customer job and select the Documents tab from the Estimator’s left panel.

Documents are organized under Job Documents and Resources. The files available in each area depend on your company’s configuration and workflow.

How do I remove a document from both the proposal and agreement?
  1. Open Job Documents or Resources, depending on where the file is located.
  2. Locate the document you want to remove.
  3. Turn off the Proposal toggle.
  4. Turn off the Agreement toggle.

Once both toggles are turned off, the document will no longer be included with either customer document.

Turning off these toggles does not delete the file from the customer job.

Can I remove the document from only one?

Yes. The Proposal and Agreement toggles work independently.

  • Turn off Proposal to remove the document from the proposal while keeping it in the agreement.
  • Turn off Agreement to remove the document from the agreement while keeping it in the proposal.
