OCC & PaySimple: How To Create and Edit Payment Forms

A guide for setting up a Payment Form for online payment acceptance through a convenient payment link

Are you looking to set up a Payment Form that will ask your customers to pay a specific amount for an Item? This article will show you how to customize this type of Payment Form. You can even collect information related to these items like T-shirt size, allergies, dietary preference, etc. This solution is great to collect customer information for a specific purpose such as a kid’s camp registration or a group outing. 

Creating a Payment Form 

To set up a customized Payment Form, you will need to create a Form for an Item. To learn how to complete this step, click here.

To create a Payment Form, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the eCommerce tab on the left hand navigation. 
  2. Click the Create button on the right hand side, and select Payment Form
  3. Select the Item you wish to sell on your Payment Form
  4. Make sure you have uploaded your store Logo and Banner, as well as a picture of the Item you are selling.
  5. You can edit the Pay Now button on the form by clicking Edit Button Text at the bottom of the form.  
  6. Save your form on the top right side of the screen
  7. Share your Payment Form on social media, embed the link provided on this screen in an email, or preview your Payment Form from the button provided. 
  8. If you are finished, click the Done button on the top right hand side. 

Editing a Payment Form 

To edit an existing Payment Form, follow the steps below. 

  1. Click Catalog on your left hand navigation 

  1. Click on the Item tied to the Payment Form you wish to edit  

  2. Expand the Form section at the bottom of the Edit Item page.   

  3. From here you can delete any fields you wish to remove, or add in new fields to this form.  

  4. You can rearrange the order that the fields display in by dragging and dropping the fields. To do this click the arrows to the left of the Field Name, and drag the field up or down.  

  5. You can edit an existing field by clicking the edit icon next to the Field Name

  • When you edit an existing field, you will be prompted to edit any of the existing Field Names.  

  • After you make your edits, click Done on the bottom right.  
  1. You can view all of your changes in the Live Form Preview on the right side of the page.   

  2. Once you have finished editing the fields, click Save on the top right hand side of the screen.
