How to Edit an Estimate Template in the Estimator

Templates can’t be edited directly. You load the template into a new estimate, make your changes, and save it again.

Step 1: Start a new estimate

1. Go to the Estimates tab.
2. Click Add Estimate.

Step 2: Apply the template

1. Open the template selector.
2. Select the template you want to change.

Step 3: Make your changes

1. Add or remove line items.
2. Update product selections or options.

Step 4: Save the updated template

1. Open the Add Template dropdown.
2. Select Save Template, then either use the save icon on the old template to replace it, or enter a new name and confirm.

💡 Notes:

• If the estimate already has line items, you'll be asked to merge or replace them.
• Existing estimates don't update when a template changes.
• Delete the old template if your team shouldn't use it anymore.
