Identify Markup Products

Step 1: Identify Markupable Products

By default, all products are markupable.

To override this:

1. Edit a Product Category or an Individual Product.

2. Locate the Markupable property.

3. Select one of the following:

Markupable Options

Default

• Inherits the value of the parent product.

• If parent = No → not markupable.

• If parent = Yes → markupable.

No

• Hardcoded to NOT be markupable.

Yes

• Hardcoded to be markupable.

Step 2: Bulk Example

If you have a parent category (for example, Labor items) and you do not want any of them markupable:

1. Set the parent category to No.

2. All child products set to Default will inherit that value automatically.
