Troubleshooting PDF Upload Issues

Resolve common issues that prevent PDF documents from uploading into One Click Contractor.

PDF upload issues in One Click Contractor are usually caused by file size limits, embedded formatting, or incompatible document layers. Documents are uploaded through the Documents section in the Administration Dashboard.

Common issues while Uploading a Document

  • If your document requires custom coding or advanced formatting, reach out to Support before uploading.

  • If you are uploading a resource document such as a brochure, try printing the document as a fresh PDF before uploading.
    Sometimes documents contain broken characters or embedded coding that may not be compatible with the system.

  • Be mindful of file size. Documents over 30MB may cause upload failures. Most PDF programs will allow you to compress the size. 

Notes: 

  • Remember that PDF Presentations live in a separate, dedicated tab and are not uploaded in the standard Documents section.

  • Uploading documents directly to the Estimator follows a different process covered in a separate article.
