Configurable Link Expiration Periods

When sending emails from One Click (Emailed PDF, Emailed Agreement, and Fully Executed Agreement) the links to download the documents are only available for a period of time. This time used to default to 7 days and was not configurable.

Now there is a Maximum of 90 days

With this release, users can configure those values for each type of document. Here’s how to set it up:

    • On the Organization’s Settings tab, there is an option under a new section “Document Link Expiration” with a checkbox (which defaults to checked) for “Default Time Periods Cannot Be Overridden”
    • You will need to uncheck this box and save in order to set the corresponding values on the Preferences tab.

On the Organization’s Preferences tab, there is a section where you can configure the periods for Document Link Expiration. There are 3 values and they are used as follows:
  • Proposal
    • When a proposal is emailed from the platform this time frame will be used.
  • Agreement
    • When an agreement is emailed from the platform, this time frame will be used. This is NOT related at all to signature links, etc. This is simply when the user emails a copy of the agreement PDF (unsigned) to the customer.
  • Signed Agreement
    • When an agreement is fully executed and the PDF is sent to the customer, this is the time frame of link expiration utilized.
