One Click Payments - Payment Methods

This article outlines the different methods of payment available via One Click Payments. Those methods are Onscreen, Email/Text to Pay, Saved Payments for future use.

Onscreen

The onscreen option allows you, the representative, to take a payment utilizing an available payment method directly on this device. Clicking the Onscreen button will bring up the following flow.

Confirming User Information and Payment Amount

You will be presented with a screen that has all of the available user information from the currently selected job (including Name, Address, etc.).


Once you enter the above information, click the appropriate button (Send Email or Send Text) based upon the appropriately selected method of transmitting the payment request.



Confirm the information and click next.

Select an Existing or Save a New Payment Method

On the next screen, if you have permissions, you’ll see a list of stored payment methods (if available) or the ability to add a new payment method.



Make your selection and click next.

Complete the Payment Process

Enter the appropriate payment information (Credit Card or Bank Transfer) depending on the applicable payment method available and click “Pay”



You’ll also notice there is a “Save Payment Method” checkbox which will allow you to save that information to the customer for a future payment.

After clicking “Pay” you’ll be presented with a receipt providing you with additional details about the transaction.


Viewing Payment History

You will also notice on the job’s information tab there is a section for Payments which will include the detail of this payment.


Email / Text

With the Email / Text option, you have the option to enter a couple pieces of information when submitting that request to the user, specifically:


  • Amount: The amount you wish to request from the user
  • Description: Text related to the payment request (this is presented to the user when they receive the payment request from you.
  • Emails or Phone Number: This is where you’ll enter the contact information of the user you wish to request a payment from.

Once you enter the above information, click the appropriate button (Send Email or Send Text) based upon the appropriately selected method of transmitting the payment request.


Email Option

The user will receive an email (similar to the one below) with the applicable information provided. The user will click the “Review” button to continue with the payment process.


Text Option

The user will receive a text message (similar to the one below) with the applicable information provided. The user will click the link to continue the payment process.


Confirm Contact and Payment Information

Similar to the Onscreen method, the user has the ability to confirm their contact and payment information. Once they complete the required information they will click “Next”


Complete the Payment Process

The user will enter the appropriate payment method information and click Pay.

After successful completion the user will receive an onscreen confirmation of their payment.

Viewing Payment History

Once the payment request has been submitted, you’ll be able to go to the Job’s Information tab where you’ll see the payment request and have the ability to resend the request (if needed).


You’ll also be able to see the result of the payment received through that method as well in the Payments tab.


Save Method

This method allows a user to have the ability to obtain card / account information and store it securely WITHOUT the need for processing an actual transaction. With this method, the user is directed to a similar payment screen where they will simply select the appropriate payment method (from the list of available payment methods) and an option to Store Details.

Entering Payment Information

Simply enter the appropriate payment method information and click “Store Details”.



Unlike other payment methods, there is no confirmation screen or receipt which is provided since the payment information is just saved.

Viewing/Using Previously Saved Methods

When using the “Onscreen” option for a customer/job which has a previously saved payment method and your user has permissions to access previously saved payment methods you’ll see that information show up on the Make Payment screen.
