Note: This assumes you’ve already applied and were approved to be a contractor with Sunlight Financial.
1. Login as an organization administrator
2. Browse to the administration tab, then select Integrations
3. Scroll down to the section for Sunlight Financial and click “Authorize”
4. On the authorization screen, enter the email address and password of the user account you wish to use for the API integration and click Authorize
5. After you’ve authorized, there is an option that will come up to allow you to Sync the Sunlight Products down as One Click Contractor Finance Options
6. Once this is done, there will be a number of Finance Options available that came directly from the products which are enabled in Sunlight. You can view these by clicking that link and it will take you to the Payment Terms / Finance Options Section.
7. Now when you go to open the Price Comparison Drawer you will see any of the Finance Options available for Sunlight Financial. Please keep in mind there are several filters that are going on to determine whether or not the option should be displayed:
- Min/Max Financed Amount
- The Job’s State … some programs are only available in certain states
8. There are a couple of things to note on the finance options that are from Sunlight.
- Whereas typical Finance Options may have an “Apply Now” button, there is also a Prequalify button as well.
- Prequalify will allow you to run someone’s credit with a “Soft Pull” and see if they’re approved for a loan. This does not require the submission of a Social Security Number.
- Apply Now will allow you to run someone’s credit with a “Hard Pull” and move to a credit decision and an amount they can borrow.
- Currently that will be an iFramed version of the Sunlight Orange Portal. Beginning in hopefully May 2021 that will take you to
