PLNAR uses a specific vocabulary for a couple items.
Structure
A structure in PLNAR vocabulary is basically an “object” or “item” which is attached to either the floor, ceiling, or wall. A couple of examples might be a Floor Cabinet, Wall Cabinet, Island, or other item. This is something which is attached to the floor wall, or ceiling, and basically wouldn’t “fall” if that room was turned upside down.
Opening
An opening in PLNAR vocabulary is referred to differently in different places. When referenced as a part of a “wall” an “opening” is a “hole” that is not either a window or a door. Elsewhere, an opening is considered a hole, window, or door. |
