Understanding Inspection Templates
Learn what inspection templates are, how they appear in OCC, and how they are used within inspections.
Article Introduction
Inspection templates are used within the Inspections tab in the Estimator to organize inspection items by category. These templates define what items are available during an inspection and help structure how information is collected for a job.
What Inspection Templates Are
Inspection templates are pre-built inspection structures that contain groups of items to be reviewed.
Each template includes:
-
A set of inspection items
-
Organized sections based on categories (such as Roofing, Siding, or Windows)
-
Fields for marking condition, adding notes, and uploading photos
These templates determine what users see and complete during an inspection.
How Inspection Templates Appear
Inspection templates appear as tabs within the inspection interface.
